My house was egged and I think I know who did it. Should I do anything?

I am 16. I just went outside and saw that there were a few eggs splatted around. 3 on my deck and there were 2 on my walls. Someone came and egged my house with 5 eggs. I THINK I know who did it. A person I know was threatening me after I spilled some water on him. He said he would egg my house with 4 or 5 eggs. I never though he was serious. I have no proof whatsoever and no evidence but I have major suspicion that he was at least involved. I have no witnesses. Should I do anything about it? Should I call the cops or should I just let it go? Am I making a bigger deal out of it than it is? Should I carry out revenge on him? I have a revenge plot in mind that would involve nothing but an answering machine. If I call the police will anything happen? What should I do?
